This May wedding was my first of the season after coming back from maternity leave. The white and muddled blush palette and the fluffy blooms made for a refreshing return back to work, and it felt SO good to have my hands on flowers again! Especially some of my favorite late spring blossoms, including lilac, sweet pea, peonies, (hello, best smelling combination!) spirea, and viburnum. I clipped little touches of hellebore, coral bell leaves and tiny underripe strawberries to muddy up the palette a bit, which I felt perfectly reflected this sweet and slightly bohemian bride. Check our her incredible Rue de Seine embroidered dress (via Alta Moda)! Maddie had amazing style, and the kindest family. They made sure I had some amazing crepes with bavarian cream before I left, and then took the flowers to retirement homes the day after the wedding. They are just wonderful people. I seriously have the best clients in the world!
