Mothers' Day 2015

This year, I had a double wedding the day before Mothers' Day, so I decided not to take orders for the holiday. However, I knew I wanted to make something special for my own mother and grandmother. Sunday morning, I woke up early and set about designing two arrangements inspired by the beauty of each woman. It felt so amazing to be elbow deep in the prettiest spring ingredients and designing for myself. I turned on music, stopped thinking, and let the arrangements come naturally. Those ones, where the flowers just speak for themselves, are always my favorite.
