Featured on Style Me Pretty: Winter Wreath Love Shoot + Video

I have never encountered a scene as serene as the snow covered mountains of Utah. Glistening, powdery white agains dark pines always makes me feel calm and reflective. Last month, I was able to create some beautiful foraged winter wreaths for Jess of Golden Swank, her husband and their sweet little pup Ellie. And this simply sweet, snowy love shoot was published on Style Me Pretty! Check out the feature here, and be sure to scroll down to see the pretty video below. Peony Love and a Golden Giveaway

Last week, I whipped up a couple small florals for Jess of Golden Swank to style some beautiful gold foil prints by West End Girl. I love these peonies (most of them for that matter) and am mourning that the season is over. If more of my next year's brides could get married in May and early June, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Keep scrolling for details on an awesome Giveaway from Golden Swank and West End Girl!

Lucky for you, Jess is giving away this set of three lovely prints and $300 CASH. I've entered and you probably should too. I mean, why wouldn't you? Best of luck!

Summer Fruit & Flower Crown Tutorial

Recently, I've been assisting another local florist to sharpen up my skills and technique. I came home with some leftover flowers from a wedding the other day and texted my girl, Jess. She had been asking me to show her how to make flower crowns, and wanted to try try some with fruit mixed in. We pulled lovely photographer Melissa Leavitt into our scheme, had an impromptu photo shoot and created a simple tutorial for fruit and flower crowns.

Check out the full tutorial and recipes for all three on Golden Swank today!

PS: Please excuse my extreme paleness. I obviously need to get out more. Def need some vitamin D. And a haircut too. And modeling lessons. Sigh, we can't all look like Jess. That's why she's the fashion blogger and I'm not. But she did wear my dress! Currently my favorite that I can't stop wearing.

I digress.

Featured on The Perfect Palette

Good morning and, first of all, welcome to my new blog! I am still working out the kinks, but didn't want to delay posting because things aren't quite looking the way I want yet. So I'll share today's post with you and introduce you to my new virtual identity as soon as it's looking a bit more presentable.

Today I'm so excited to show you a styled shoot I recently did that is featured on The Perfect Palette! You can see the full feature here.  All the details for this concept were so fun to pull together because the aesthetic really spoke to me. You can see some images that inspired me here, and a sneak peak here. I won't go into it here, but if you want a more detailed description on the inspiration behind and crafting of this project, you can read more on The Perfect Palette.

I was also so blessed to be able to work with some of the most amazing ladies ever. Each one put heart and soul into this project, and I want to thank each of them for making my vision come to life. You can find all their credits and information below.

And now, without further ado, wedding details inspired by Ink and Ice.
